The Role

Would you like to develop your project management skills in a fundraising setting? 

London Business School require a Project Support Manager to join our Advancement team on a permanent basis.

You will be providing ongoing project support to all sizes of projects required within the Advancement department.

Stakeholder management will be a critical aspect of this role with a number of ongoing projects that will require working with key stakeholders from around the School, particularly those at a senior level

Main Responsibilities

• To provide project management services to the Advancement Department.  Including oversight of all key projects across the department; management of a portfolio of small to mid-sized projects; and support of strategic, large-scale projects. 
• Managing faculty asks from Advancement (managing requests for faculty to speak at Advancement events, attend dinners, contribute to newsletters or act as signatories for appeals and other materials)
• Responsibility of the day to day management of the ‘Walking the Learning Journey Committee’ which consists of several Senior Management Team representatives across the School with the purpose of managing the spend of a large philanthropic donation over the next 5 years

Who we are looking for

• Postholder may be supported be a specialist project management qualification. May be working towards relevant professional qualification.  
• Good communication skills and the ability to break down technical issues and explain them in layman’s terms.  
• Experience of using software related to own area of specialism to extract, analyse and report on data.  
• Excellent project management skills.  
• Excellent organisational skills and flexibility to work across multiple projects 
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.  
• Positive experience of working within a customer-services orientated environment.  
• Excellent stakeholder management skills – adapting to a range of styles
