The Role

London Business School require two new Coordinators to join our Advancement team. Both roles are key administrators within the team and will establish excellent working relationships with internal and external stakeholders including the Advancement team and key alumni

Principal Giving Coordinator – ideally you will have worked within a fundraising role previously, as you will have a specialised focus on the Principal Gifts team and prospects

Major Giving Coordinator – you will support the broader team, also with a focus on the Events series that take place throughout the academic year for significant donors and students

Main Responsibilities

Principal Giving

  • Support all aspects of the work of the Principal Giving team. 
  • Plan the Principal Giving team meetings including agenda, logistics, minute taking, and action-item tracking.  
  • Assist with the creation of fundraising materials, presentations, data and briefs to a high level of detail and accuracy. 

Major Giving

  • Provide administrative support to the Major Gifts fundraisers within the Giving team, including expenses, support with meeting logistics, FAQ’s, diary co-ordination, and general database support as appropriate. 
  • Lead on strategic implementation and delivery of the London Breakfast Series, a cultivation event for our significant donors and a small group of students 
  • Providing administrative support as appropriate with the Strategic Events Manager and Major Giving Team with cultivation events (UK and overseas). 
  • Manage and assist with a wide variety of departmental administrative queries as part of a small group of coordinators via a shared inbox 

Who we are looking for

  • High level interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to address a variety of stakeholders. 
  • Sound working knowledge of standard IT packages including Microsoft Office products, systems and/or databases.  
  • Experience with CRM databases (Raiser’s Edge desirable)  
  • Proactive approach to relationship development with colleagues.  
  • Excellent time management, organisational and administration skills, including high attention to detail and the ability to set priorities in an environment where multiple competing priorities are present. 
  • Exceptional time management skills with the ability to organise and prioritise, work under pressure and meet deadlines. 
  • Experience supporting multiple stakeholders with differing priorities.  
  • Good team working skills and the ability to work collaboratively.  
  • Ability to interpret and apply guidelines to a specific activity.  
  • Experience of working in a customer facing environment.
